BUTUAN: The Police Regional Office (PRO) 13 (Caraga) will deploy 1,081 police officers across the region to ensure public safety during All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days, also known as ‘Undas.’
According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-13 has identified priority areas such as cemeteries, memorial parks, churches, public terminals, ports, and other high-traffic locations for enhanced security measures. Operational guidelines have been disseminated to all provincial police offices, the Butuan City Police Office, and mobile forces, outlining specific law enforcement strategies for the holiday period.
PRO-13 Director Brig. Gen. Alan Nazarro stated that additional security measures have been established to deter any criminal activities by lawless elements. He emphasized that 750 additional personnel and 778 volunteers would act as force multipliers during the observance.
