LEGAZPI CITY: The Police Regional Office (PRO) 5 (Bicol) reported the arrest of four most wanted individuals in separate operations across the region this week.
According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-5 spokesperson, the operations took place in the provinces of Catanduanes, Masbate, Camarines Norte, and Sorsogon. Among those arrested was “Juan,” a 40-year-old resident of Bato, Catanduanes, who is the region’s fourth most wanted person. He faces charges of attempted rape, with a PHP120,000 bail, and sexual assault, with a PHP180,000 bail.
In Masbate, a man identified as “Lads” from Aroroy town, ranked seventh on the region’s most wanted list, was arrested for three counts of statutory rape, with no bail recommended.
Additionally, in Atimonan, Quezon, the ninth most wanted person in the region, “Isko,” a resident of Labo, Camarines Norte, was apprehended on a rape charge, with no bail set. Lastly, “Ipe,” the region’s tenth most wanted person, was arrested in Sorsogon City on a rape charge under Criminal Case No. 2024-13344C, also with no bail recommended.
