Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Albay Rescheduled to December


LEGAZPI CITY – The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF):The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), initially scheduled for October 12-13 at Bicol University, has been postponed to December 6-7. The decision, announced by the Ako Bicol Party-list (AKB), aims to enhance the organization and accessibility of the event, ensuring it fully benefits the residents of Albay.

According to Philippines News Agency, Sally Luces, media relations officer for Ako Bicol Party-list, stated the rescheduling would allow for better coordination with national government agencies. The fair is expected to draw over 100,000 beneficiaries from Albay’s three districts. ‘We are now coordinating with various national government agencies for the Serbisyo fair. We are expecting more than 100,000 beneficiaries from the three districts of Albay,” Luces said.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair is designed to be a comprehensive event, aligning multiple government entities to provide essential services directly to the public. These services
include medical missions, job fairs, livelihood assistance, and various aid programs. AKB Party-list Representative Elizaldy Co emphasized that despite the delay, the commitment to delivering quality services remains unchanged. ‘We want to make sure that all government agencies are fully prepared so that the Albayanos can benefit from this event. By Dec. 6 and 7, more of the programs are expected to be well organized and comprehensive,” Co remarked.

Co also encouraged the residents of Albay to take advantage of the rescheduled fair and to continue registering at bagongpilipinastayo.com. He reiterated the objective of the event, ‘This is all part of our efforts to bring the government closer to the people. We will continue to prioritize health, livelihood, and other essential services,’ Co concluded.
