BTS Jin Announces Solo Debut Album “Happy” Featuring New Single “Running Wild”


Seoul: BTS member Jin’s first solo album “Happy” is set to release on November 15, led by the single “Running Wild,” according to BigHit Music. The album marks Jin’s debut solo project since he first appeared with the global K-pop sensation BTS and comes after his return from mandatory military service in June.

According to Yonhap News Agency, “Happy” will present a total of six tracks including the main single “Running Wild” and a pre-release track “I’ll Be There” set to debut on October 25. Jin took to social media to unveil the album’s tracklist, which also features songs like “Another Level,” “Until I Reach You,” “Heart on the Window,” a collaboration with Red Velvet’s Wendy, and “In Longing.”

The agency described “Running Wild” as a pop-rock song influenced by British rock, produced by Gary Barlow of the renowned British pop band Take That. The track is intended to convey a message of perseverance and hope towards achieving one’s goals. Meanwhile, “I’ll Be There” features American singer-songwriter MAX
and aims to uplift listeners who feel tired and alone.

The album also includes “Until I Reach You” featuring guest appearances by Takahiro Moriuchi and Toru Yamashita of the Japanese rock band One Ok Rock. The final track, “In Longing,” is a heartfelt ballad written by Jin for his fans, highlighting his personal touch and connection to his audience.
