Seoul: HD Hyundai on Friday reported its third-quarter net income of 101.7 billion won (US$73.7 million), reflecting a significant decrease of 82.9 percent compared to the same period last year. The company disclosed this information in a recent regulatory filing.

According to Yonhap News Agency, HD Hyundai’s operating profit for the July-September period also saw a decline, falling 35.4 percent on-year to 431.5 billion won. Despite the decrease in profit, the company’s sales experienced a growth of 21 percent, reaching 16.59 trillion won.
