High-Value Suspect Arrested with PHP6.8 Million Worth of Shabu in Caloocan

CALOOCAN: Police officers have arrested a high-value individual and seized shabu worth over PHP6.8 million during a sting operation in Caloocan City on Tuesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, the operation was led by the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) under the leadership of Brig. Gen. Eleazar Matta. The suspect, identified by the alias “Ross,” a 30-year-old resident of Navotas City, was apprehended at approximately 1:21 p.m. in Barangay 136, Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City. The suspect was found in possession of one kilogram of shabu contained in a heat-sealed transparent plastic bag, along with other non-drug evidence.

Brig. Gen. Matta emphasized the significance of the operation, stating, “The recent dismantling of a significant drug operation has resulted in substantial drug seizures and the arrest of a high-value drug personality. This achievement clearly demonstrates our dedication to combating drug-related crime and enhancing public safety.”

tems are currently held at the PDEG Special Operations Unit in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, for documentation and processing. The seized drug evidence will be sent to the PNP Forensic Group at Camp Crame, Quezon City, for laboratory examination.
