Hyundai Motor Group Partners with Top Universities to Advance Robotics Research


SEOUL: Hyundai Motor Group has announced the establishment of a joint research initiative with South Korea’s leading robotics research institutions to accelerate advancements in robotics technology. The initiative, named the Robotics Joint Research Lab, is a collaborative effort with Seoul National University, Pohang University of Science and Technology, and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the new venture aims to bolster the technological capabilities of mobile dual-arm robots and foster a dynamic research ecosystem in the robotics sector. The official agreement was marked by a signing ceremony held at Seoul National University. The collaborative effort will be supported by Hyundai NGV, Hyundai Motor Group’s industry-academia cooperation body, which will work closely with the universities to secure top talent and build a strong network of robotics experts.
