Hyundai Motor Unveils Enhanced Casper Mini SUV with Improved Design and Electric Model

Seoul: Hyundai Motor Co. announced the launch of its updated Casper mini SUV, featuring advanced design updates for improved aesthetics and performance, along with a new electric model variant.

According to Yonhap News Agency, the newly revamped Casper retains its iconic design while incorporating a more sophisticated exterior and a premium interior. The enhancements include newly designed 17-inch alloy wheels and redesigned rear lamps, aimed at boosting the vehicle’s rugged yet refined appearance.

The improvements extend to the SUV’s functionality, with Hyundai Motor optimizing the design of the radiator grille and wheels to enhance aerodynamic efficiency. This change minimizes air resistance, which is expected to contribute to better fuel efficiency. Additionally, the company has made significant improvements in reducing noise and vibration in the engine compartment, thereby enhancing the overall quietness and refinement of the vehicle compared to its predecessor.

In a move to expand its electric vehicle
lineup, Hyundai Motor also introduced a new base model trim for the Casper Electric, which was initially launched in July. This model is equipped with a 42 kilowatt-hour ternary NCM (nickel-cobalt-manganese) battery, a product of a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and LG Energy Solution Ltd. The new electric trim offers a commendable driving range of up to 278 kilometers on a single charge, marking a significant step in Hyundai’s commitment to electric mobility.
