Israel Conducts Airstrikes on Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon Following Imminent Threat

JERUSALEM — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) initiated heavy airstrikes on Hezbollah positions throughout Lebanon in response to intelligence indicating an impending attack by the group.

According to Philippines News Agency, the decision to strike was made after surveillance detected Hezbollah preparing to launch missiles and rockets into Israeli territory. “The IDF identified the Hezbollah terrorist organization preparing to fire missiles and rockets toward Israeli territory. In response to these threats, the IDF is striking terror targets in Lebanon,” stated an IDF spokesperson. Israeli Air Force jets targeted facilities associated with Hezbollah that were deemed an immediate threat to Israeli citizens.

In conjunction with the airstrikes, the Israeli army issued an advisory urging civilians in southern Lebanon to evacuate their homes to avoid potential harm from the military response.
