Kia Unveils Enhanced Carnival Minivan with Advanced Safety and Convenience Features


SEOUL: Kia Corporation announced the launch of an updated version of its popular Carnival minivan, boasting significant improvements in safety technologies and convenience features, enhancing the vehicle’s overall value to consumers.

According to Yonhap News Agency, Kia Corp., the latest iteration of the Carnival has undergone substantial upgrades to its steering control system to bolster the minivan’s lane-keeping assistance capability. The new model now includes steering wheel grip detection sensors that employ capacitive technology, ensuring higher responsiveness and safety across all trims. Additionally, the company has introduced the Kia Digital Key 2 and touch-type outside door handles as standard features in the Signature trim and higher, aiming to enhance user experience and accessibility.

A spokesperson from Kia emphasized the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction, stating that the revamped Carnival is designed to “continue to provide differentiated value to all customers by adding safety a
nd convenience features that customers prefer.” This move is part of Kia’s broader strategy to refine its vehicles in line with consumer expectations and emerging automotive technologies.
