SEOUL: The Korea Interbank Offered Rates (KORIBOR) remained stable across most terms as reported at 11:00 a.m. by Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency. The rates, essential for financial institutions when lending to each other, showed consistency in the short and long-term rates with minor fluctuations across different periods.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the KORIBOR for the one-week term held steady at 3.25%, unchanged from the previous session. Similarly, the one-month rate experienced a slight decrease to 3.30% from 3.31% in the previous session. The two-month and three-month terms remained unchanged at 3.34% and 3.40%, respectively. The six-month rate also stayed consistent at 3.37%, while the twelve-month term held firm at 3.24%. This stability in the interbank rates indicates a consistent lending environment among financial institutions in Korea.
