SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index witnessed a session of mixed trading on Tuesday, with several stocks closing higher while others saw declines. Notable movements included Samsung C and T, which led the gains with an increase of 2,200 KRW, closing at 136,200 KRW.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Hanwha Aerospace also experienced a significant rise, climbing 3,500 KRW to close at 381,000 KRW. HanmiPharm saw an increase of 4,000 KRW, ending the day at 332,000 KRW, while ORION Holdings rose by 120 KRW to 16,600 KRW. Other notable gainers included CJ, which surged by 700 KRW to 105,000 KRW, and LOTTE SHOPPING, which increased by 400 KRW to close at 64,600 KRW.
On the downside, several stocks experienced declines. Mobis saw a considerable drop of 5,500 KRW, closing at 247,500 KRW. KumhoPetrochem fell by 3,600 KRW to 142,600 KRW, and SKSQUARE declined by 2,800 KRW to 89,900 KRW. Additionally, S-1 decreased by 1,300 KRW, closing at 62,600 KRW, and SGBC fell by 1,700 KRW to 69,300 KRW. LOTTE WELLFOOD also experienced a de
cline, dropping 1,200 KRW to 129,600 KRW.
