KOSPI 200 Market Report: Key Financial Movements Observed.


SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of gains and declines among its listed companies in the latest closing session. Notable movements included KEPCO E and C closing at 67,400, marking a decrease of 1,400, and TKG Huchems ending at 19,630, down by 240. Meanwhile, JB Financial Group saw a slight increase, closing at 17,920, up by 10. LGELECTRONICS experienced a significant rise, closing at 90,800, which is an increase of 1,300.

According to Yonhap News Agency, other companies that experienced upward trends include ShinhanGroup, which rose by 2,700 to close at 54,000, and SK Innovation, which gained 4,400, closing at 121,800. On the other hand, several companies saw declines, such as HYUNDAI ROTEM, which ended at 61,500, down by 900, and emart, which decreased by 1,400, closing at 63,900.

The report also highlighted AMOREPACIFIC’s gain of 3,700, ending at 120,300, and HanmiPharm’s drop of 14,000, closing at 306,500. Additionally, KOLMAR KOREA fell by 3,100, closing at 67,800, while WooriFinancialGroup s
aw an increase of 320, reaching 15,750 by the end of the trading day.

In other movements, SKCHEM decreased by 1,200 to 48,800, and BGF Retail dropped by 1,700, closing at 114,000. Meanwhile, S-Oil experienced an uptick, rising by 800 to close at 58,100. These figures reflect the dynamic nature of the stock market and the varied performances of the companies within the KOSPI 200 index.
