KOSPI 200 Sees Mixed Performance with Notable Gains and Losses


SEOUL: The KOSPI 200 index closed with a mixed performance, as several key stocks experienced both gains and declines. Prominent movements included increases in shares of SamsungF and MIns, which rose by 10,000, and declines in POSCO Holdings, which fell by 12,000.

According to Yonhap News Agency, SamsungF and MIns saw a significant rise, closing at 359,000, marking one of the largest gains in the session. Other notable increases were recorded by Ottogi, which advanced by 6,500 to 412,500, and Hanwha Aerospace, which rose by 4,000 to reach 385,500. Additionally, Mobis saw an increase of 3,500, closing at 247,500.

Conversely, POSCO Holdings experienced a substantial decrease, falling by 12,000 to 331,500. KumhoPetrochem and LG Energy Solution also saw declines, dropping by 3,200 to 133,400 and by 8,000 to 381,500, respectively. KPIC and SKBP witnessed decreases as well, with KPIC down 2,600 to 101,400 and SKBP declining by 1,400 to 122,900.

The data further showed that stocks such as LG Innotek remained un
changed at 199,200, while HD Hyundai Heavy Industries saw a rise of 1,200 to 193,900. Stocks like KCC and LS saw declines, with KCC decreasing by 6,000 to 260,500 and LS down 2,500 to 113,800.

The mixed performance highlights the varying market dynamics affecting the KOSPI 200, reflecting investor sentiment across different sectors.
