KOSPI 200 Sees Varied Movements with Notable Gains and Losses.


Seoul: The KOSPI 200 index displayed a mix of gains and losses, highlighting significant movements among its constituents. SK Telecom closed at 56,900, marking a decrease of 100, while Hyundai Elevator experienced a drop of 400, closing at 45,500. In contrast, several companies witnessed gains, with COWAY increasing by 1,700 to 64,400 and KIWOOM rising by 2,500 to 135,300.

According to Yonhap News Agency, KEPCO E and C and Hanwha Ocean also saw upward movements, with KEPCO E and C gaining 100 to close at 67,500 and Hanwha Ocean rising by 250 to 27,050. HD Hyundai Infracore and HANMISemi showed positive trends as well, closing at 6,700 and 95,600 with increases of 20 and 2,800, respectively. Other notable gainers included DWEC at 3,600, Shinhan Group at 54,500, and KEPCO KPS at 44,500, with respective increases of 60, 500, and 1,050.

LG H and H and NCsoft also reported gains, closing at 338,000 and 219,500, up by 6,000 and 2,500, respectively. Kakao and LGCHEM followed suit with increases of 1,200 and 5,500
, closing at 37,350 and 323,500. Meanwhile, KB Financial Group fell by 1,100 to 90,700, and HD Hyundai dropped significantly by 3,800 to 72,200.

CSWIND and Hansae added 2,800 and 150 to their values, closing at 61,800 and 15,390, respectively. KOLON IND, Youngone Corp, SD Biosensor, and GKL also saw increases, closing at 31,400, 42,150, 9,040, and 11,540. Meritz Financial and HanmiPharm experienced substantial gains, closing at 103,400 and 335,000, up by 600 and 28,500, respectively.

ORION and ILJIN HYSOLUS rose to 100,400 and 21,300, while HANWHA SYSTEMS, Doosan Bobcat, Netmarble, and KRAFTON reported gains, closing at 17,890, 38,250, 56,200, and 337,500. HD Hyundai Electric showed a significant increase of 13,000, closing at 335,500.

Doosan Robotics and ISUSPECIALTYCHEMICAL ended the day with gains, closing at 68,900 and 41,850. Hanwha Industrial Solutions and CJ Logistics also saw positive movements, closing at 3,100 and 89,000. In contrast, HITEJINRO and DL experienced declines, ending at 20,500 and 38
,650, with decreases of 350 and 1,500, respectively. Hankook and Company remained unchanged at 17,030.
