Seoul: In today’s stock market activity, several key South Korean companies experienced significant price changes at the close of trading, according to the latest KOSPI 200 closing price list. Notably, POSCO FUTURE M and SAMSUNG SDI CO., LTD. emerged as top gainers, while KCC and HANWHA AEROSPACE faced steep declines.
According to Yonhap News Agency, POSCO FUTURE M saw an increase of 3,000 points, closing at 233,500, while SAMSUNG SDI CO., LTD. enjoyed a rise of 4,500 points to finish at 334,500. On the flip side, KCC’s stock plummeted by 10,500 points, ending the day at 266,500, and HANWHA AEROSPACE dropped by 6,000 points to close at 381,500.
Other notable movements included SKBP, which rose by 1,100 points, and SAMSUNG SDS, with a gain of 1,500 points. Conversely, LOTTE Fine Chem and HYUNDAI STEEL witnessed declines of 600 and 550 points, respectively. The mixed results reflect a diverse range of factors influencing individual stocks and sectors within the South Korean market.
