Mindanao Development Authority Highlights Investment Potential at Singapore Summit


DAVAO CITY — The Mindanao Development Authority (MinDA) led a delegation of business leaders to the 4th Philippines-Singapore Business and Investment Summit (PSBIS) in Singapore, focusing on attracting investments that could boost Mindanao’s economic growth. MinDA Secretary Leo Tereso Magno, who served as the event’s key speaker, outlined business and investment opportunities in Mindanao during his presentation.



According to Philippines News Agency, the summit serves as a platform to promote Mindanao as a strategic investment destination, with its large population, growing consumer market, and geographic significance. Magno highlighted Mindanao’s recent economic performance, noting a 6.2 percent average growth rate under President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s administration, which exceeds historical averages.



The delegation also hosted a networking session, connecting Mindanao-based participants with over 30 Singaporean business leaders to explore potential collaborations.
