NAIA Terminal 4 Set for Renovation, Temporary Relocation of Flights Announced

NAIA T4 – Ninoy Aquino International Airport’s Terminal 4 is scheduled for significant renovations starting November 6, with a planned reopening in February 2025. This terminal, the oldest at NAIA, currently serves multiple airlines and handles a considerable daily passenger volume.

According to Philippines News Agency, Terminal 4 will see a temporary suspension of services as it undergoes “safety upgrades” to enhance traveler comfort and operational efficiency. It currently accommodates about 2,900 passengers daily, which represents 2.23 percent of NAIA’s total daily traffic. Airlines currently operating from Terminal 4, including AirSWIFT with 12 daily flights, Sunlight Air with two, and CebGo with 36, will relocate to Terminal 2. The shifts will occur with Cebgo moving on November 7 and AirSWIFT a day earlier on November 5.

New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), the organization overseeing the renovations, emphasizes the long-term benefits of these upgrades despite the expected short-term disruptions. NNIC has advised passengers to stay updated on flight schedules directly from their airlines and follow NNIC’s social media platforms for ongoing updates about the renovation process.

Previously, NNIC General Manager Angelito Alvarez announced plans to relocate all AirAsia domestic flights to Terminal 4 as part of a broader strategic adjustment within NAIA’s operations.
