**Phinma Properties Unveils 21-Hectare ‘Saludad’ Township in Bacolod City**

BACOLOD CITY: A new 21-hectare township development called Saludad has been unveiled by Phinma Properties, promising to showcase the best of Bacolod City. This PHP12-billion project, located along the Bacolod-Silay Airport Access Road in Barangay Bata, is set to blend the city’s cultural heritage with modern urban living.

According to Philippines News Agency, the development was announced during a brand launch event attended by Phinma Properties’ president and CEO, Raphael Felix. Felix expressed the company’s enthusiasm for contributing positively to Bacolod’s urbanization. The masterplan, designed by architect Royal Pineda, aims to reflect Bacolod’s evolving needs while honoring its culture and natural beauty.

The Saludad township will feature two residential enclaves, a business district, a retail area with cafés, restaurants, and shops, as well as hospitality and educational spaces. Its unique fan-shaped layout pays homage to the scenic views of Mt. Silay, Mt. Mandalagan, and Mt. Kanlaon visible from the
property. Residential offerings include the Likha Estates, with prime lots in a meticulously designed community, and Phinma Maayo, which will feature mid-rise condominiums.

The first building to rise in Saludad will be a 150-room Tryp hotel, with construction slated to begin in June 2025. This hotel will be operated by Phinma Hospitality, the franchise holder of Microtel and Tryp by Wyndham brands in the Philippines. Architect Royal Pineda emphasized that the design process involved a deep exploration of Bacolod and Negros culture, aiming to set a standard for future developments in the township.

Saludad will also host Southwestern University’s first branch outside Cebu City, further expanding the educational opportunities in the region. This initiative is part of the Phinma Education network, which operates in both the Philippines and Indonesia.

Phinma Corp. chair and CEO Ramon del Rosario stated that the township will offer Bacolod residents and locals more opportunities to enhance their lives while fost
ering a sense of community. He highlighted the importance of family and community in Bacolodnon culture, which aligns with Phinma Group’s core values.
