Seoul: The industry ministry of South Korea has announced discussions on industrial cooperation with a delegation of U.S. business officials. The discussions focused on collaboration in cutting-edge sectors to enhance bilateral ties.
According to Yonhap News Agency, Deputy Trade Minister Park Jong-won met with the delegation, which was led by Tami Overby, vice chair of the US-Asia Institute. The meeting was aimed at sharing opinions on how to strengthen the relationship between the two nations in various advanced industries. The U.S. delegation comprised officials from companies with significant ties to the South Korean market, including Coupang Inc., Organon, FedEx Corp., and MSPC.
During the meeting, Deputy Minister Park emphasized the importance of business collaboration in advancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the fields of cutting-edge industries and supply chains.
