Seoul: South Korea’s major cities are experiencing a range of weather conditions as Sunday’s forecast predicts varying temperatures and precipitation levels throughout the country.
According to Yonhap News Agency, the capital city, Seoul, is expected to have a cloudy day with temperatures ranging from a high of 20°C to a low of 10°C, with no chance of rain. Similarly, Incheon will see cloudy skies with temperatures between 19°C and 11°C, also with no precipitation expected. Suwon will experience slightly cooler temperatures, with the possibility of rain at 10%.
Meanwhile, cities such as Cheongju and Daejeon are forecasted to have sunny and cloudy conditions, respectively, with a 20% chance of rain in both areas. Cheongju will see temperatures between 19°C and 11°C, while Daejeon will slightly cooler, ranging from 19°C to 9°C. In the northern region, Chuncheon and Gangneung are both expected to have cloudy skies with no rain, with temperatures at 18°C/7°C and 20°C/11°C, respectively.
The southern parts of
the country will experience more variable weather, with Jeonju predicted to have cloudy conditions and a 20% chance of rain. Gwangju and Jeju, on the other hand, are expected to experience rain with a 60% likelihood, with temperatures in Gwangju at 17°C/12°C and Jeju slightly warmer at 20°C/18°C. Daegu and Busan will see differing weather patterns, with Daegu expecting cloudy skies and a 30% chance of rain, while Busan will enjoy sunny conditions despite a 60% chance of rain, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 15°C.
